Can someone remind me of the application for extension (FLR M) if we have to fill out a form online as well? It says in the UKWI website that there are 3 ways to apply: online, by post or in person (premium service). We are going to Cardiff so in person it is. I know we have to print out the form, fill it out and submit it along with other necessary documents. It's been 30 months since we've done this and a lot has been going on in our lives here in the UK

No online application, just download the latest FLR(M) form before you apply, book your premium centre (28 days before expiry of first FLR minimum) and pay the NHS surcharge with the premium service.

Exactly the same process as your first FLR with the addition of paying the new health surcharge.

Thank you! All the best to you and the missus too! Would it be too early to book an appointment now? Or leave it just few weeks before our desired date? We still got just more than 4 months til my visa expires. :)

The earliest time you can apply is 28 days before your present FLR(M) expires, so you will have to leave it a little while.

Oh I meant just booking an appointment. The date of application/ desired date is within the 28-day timeframe.

Hello Anne. You can book your premium service appointment online up to 42 days in advance.

That's correct (42 day advance premium booking), but you have to make the actually appointment to be no earlier than 28 days before the visa expires.

Just thought I'd pop that one in before I confuse myself :)

Once you put pen to paper and start the application it will all come rushing back :)
