If all the documents are in order before departure then 30 days are more than ample to get married in and have a honeymoon.
It has been done in 12 days, before now.

she can not get marriage certificate if she is not married yet, but she can get the CENOMAR or Certificate of No Marriage from the NSO Office in the Philippines, by the way, we have the same situation about applying the UK visa for marriage, but the only different is were both Male "Civil Partnership" or "Same Sex Couple", yes you can marry your girlfriend here in Philippines Iloilo, but the question is, if the UKBA will approve her visa for settlement in UK with you, because we have friend, and he is a UK citizen, and they get married here in Philippines, but their Settlement visa to UK was denied, if you want a easy way to process her visa and both of you can get married in UK, she should apply for marriage visitor visa for 6months in UK, so you can marry your girlfriend there in UK, and she will come back in the Philippines to apply for another visa, the Settlement visa, and that will be 101% approve by UKBA, because your marriage certificate is in UK, and its more easy for her to get her settlement visa in UK, because most of foreign people who get married to Filipina here in the Philippines, their settlement visa was always denied, thats why much better to get married there in UK, and before you travel here in the Philippines Iloilo, to help her to process her visa, make sure her papers was already ready, like "Passport, CENOMAR, Birth certificate, 2 Picture Passport size, grey background" and if you have a british passport, you dont need a visa to come here in the Philippines, the only thing you need is round trip ticket, but if you really want to be with your girlfriend, or future wife, there's have a easy way for you to get your permanent visa here in the Philippines, and your yearly income there in UK will go further here in the Philippines, and there's a lot of business opportunities for you here in the Philippines :)

Advance Greetings for you and your Girlfriend "Future Wife"
Congratulations and have a Happy Wedding for you both

I'm afraid to say Chris, your post is both confusing and contains incorrect statements:

    You say:
This is not true. Regardless of where the marriage takes place, the requirements for a UK settlement visa are the same.

    You go on to say
That is also untrue. Quite a healthy number of British-Filipino members and their wives, who have married here in the Philippines, have successfully applied for settlement visas and their wives are now resident in the UK.

You only need a confirmed reservation on a flight out of the Philippines; it does not need to be a round trip ticket.

If you're referring to the Section 13(a) (Settlement) Visa, that is only available to the spouse of a Philippine citizen. That visa is not available to fiancées or live-in partners.

As one who has been living here for just over 7 years, I can tell you that is no longer true.

The fastest way for any foreigner to lose money is to invest in a business undertaking here, be it a Sari-Sari store or a call centre. Very, very few foreigners have had any commercial success here.

right, maybe before yes its easy to apply for settlement visa in UK, all things changes, because we have british friend who married to filipina, and his wife was a nurse in UK before, and they got married here in the Philippines, and when they process their visa for settlement in UK, why the UKBA denied it?? maybe its not for them :) and not only a sari sari store or call centre business you can do here in Philippines, well maybe it depends how they run their business, :) and yes it so easy to get a permanent visa here in the Philippines, because i have friend from netherland, he got his permanent visa after his interview, :)

because my partner said, even its hard or easy to get the settlement visa in UK, much better to live in the Philippines, because of the racist party in the UK nowadays, and well its depends to our God plans, If he want you in UK he will approve, if not he will denied, but still thank you :) Because God knows what the best for us :) :)

Very likely because they were unable to satisfy all the requirements; maybe his income was not high enough.

Exactly which visa did he apply for and is he married to a Filipina? There are a range of settlement visas available to foreigners other than the Section 13(a) including SIRV, SRRV and Quota Visa. They're all quite easy to obtain, provided you match the requirements, but have varying costs from a few thousand Pesos to around 250,000.

They probably got denied either because their documentation wasnot good enough or they were below the income threshold.

It is no easier to apply in the UK than in Philippines. The requirements are the same.

You can get Fiance visa for the UK. If you want to get married in the UK that is the logical route as you don't need to return to The Philippines once married but can apply for spouse visa from within the UK.
