This the one? https://www.spot.ph/arts-culture/pe...ppines-cast-hair-musical-a00171-20171026-lfrm You are fortunate living in the south. Shows in London are easy to get to.
I think that is it. It would have been nice to see that. We've done a few shows, although mainly gigs, which often involved trips up north.
For sure. A lot of top names there.... Tickets for 50 pence too! Is that 50p or was it pre decimal? 50 shillings? The only act on that list I ever saw was Santana who played with the Eagles in about 75. Hotel California. I was playing some Jefferson Starship stuff earlier. That ticket might be worth a few bob now. Have you taken it to Floggit?
It was 50 shillings (£2.50) for the weekend .... Sat/Sunday, which is what I bought. (Plus my £3 return train fare, from York to Bath. ) Santana for me, were one of the three best performers there. Magnificent. Sheer class. I have some of their albums to this day, which I regularly play, both here and in the Phils... where of course they enjoy a lot of the 'Latin' influenced stuff. Oh, and Donovan, who you may have heard of... just turned up and played for an hour, for free. Superb .
I paid over £130 for a 4 day Folk Festival last year but it was worth it, but I remember the era when gigs were a few quid, the real price has increased by at least 300% I reckon. Your Bath festival had a hell of a line up!
