Got the Visa !!!

Just want to thank everyone for there assistance in Marilou`s visa application.. i knew all along they never had a reason to decline the visa but you obviously cant be sure especially in the Philippines..

Although we are extremely happy at the decision we are a bit disappointed at the process.. we signed up for the SMS service that was supposed to update us at various stages within the application, in a nutshell the VFS got the results last week but never informed us by email nor SMS we only knew by taking a visit to the office today.. they even had a cheek to send an SMS confirming the Visa was picked up today lol seriously ?

The visa begins on the 31st of this month but we cant get the sticker until the day after no biggie but we were hoping to get the sticker A.S.A.P and get out of Cebu we will now just get it in Manila before we fly out.. anyways thx again all and if anyone is looking for any up to date info in regards to the process just ask..

P.S don't waste you're time putting all supporting documents in a folder and indexing everything like we did lol i spent several hours the night before we submitted all our documents putting everything in polly pockets labeling the contents of each polly pocket and creating an index in a folder so documents could be found easily at the VFS they made us take everything out the folder & polly pockets and hand it all in a big pile ? where is the sense in that lol.... only in the Philippines !!!

Because they have a standard plastic envelop for that that can hold it in one pile..and it can't hold extra polly pockets . ....and it's a UKVI thing and not a Filipino.
I suggest she calls up CFO CEBU for seminar schedule on or after visa validity and I Suggest FLY FROM CEBU to UK .... saves you a few hundred quid

My wife does`nt need the Seminar only the CFO sticker she did the seminar when applying for her passport, also Cebu is actually more expensive to fly to Scotland by quite a lot infact.. as i believe the sticker is actually FOC so don`t know why its not issued until after the visa is valid makes no sense its not as if anyone can depart until the visa is actually live so to speak.. but hey-ho not a biggie we can get it in Manila !

I'm also confused about the VAF4A Part 4 [your spouse/partner: if you are single, widowed, divorced, a surviving civil partner, or you have dissolved a civil relationship go to 4.17 ] do I need to fill out under the spouse/partner or leave it? I'm already engaged to my British boyfriend.

Also, the Part 7 question 7.22 is your sponsor currently living in the uk? If yes, when did he arrive in the uk?

What will I answer to that question? The date when he was born?

CFO sticker is stamped on your passport for the purpose of giving a Filipino clearance to travel (and some tips and infos in case one is needing help when in another country) and i assume that's the reason why it is only provided as soon as your visa is already valid.
GOOD that she is through with it and can get it in Manila.Yes it's practical for you to fly from Manila since you still have to pick up the CFO sticker. I just thought of suggesting that to you as
It was just very convenient for me to fly from CEBU to HK - HEATHROW - EDINBURGH coz I got my CFO sticker from there.
