@Chicksisweetie ---you need to create an online a/c for your visa application--heres the link---

    https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/home/welcome

you can both access the online form--fill it--amend it--save it--until youre both totally happy with how it looks. the paper PDF version is not needed--and the format is very different to the online form.

i suggest you create a new thread on here if you need further advice--so its not confused with the present thread.

    Hi there

My wife is applying for the spouse visa in the Philippines.

My understanding of the process is as follows :

1)You apply for the visa online and make payment there.

    2) you book an appointment at a visa application centre and take your supporting documents there .

My question is does she need to take the appendix 2 document with her to the visa application centre?

Do you have any helpful tips / advice.

Iam going to the Philippines in july so any advice would be much welcomed! :):)

Wow that's a lot of extra fee for 13 days release...mine was submitted in Cebu too ,decided and approved in 16 working days but just on premium service (think not much difference eh ).

Hi there... yes you register online fill in the blanks.. make payment and book appointment all online in the application ( you then print out the online application ) and print out the V4AF and fill that out in pen and hand it in with the completed online application and supporting document's ! Oneworld made an amazing step by step guide that goes through all the steps !! Think it's pinned on 1st page in this forum ;)

    Good luck !!

Oh yeah for sure way to much imo but it was 13 days from submission to visa in hand and not working days.. the only reason we went the PV route as I wanted to be there to support my wife in the IELTS test & TB test the finally submitting the visa application and bribg her home with me as my time of work is/was 2 months !

Could have been done a lot quicker but we couldn't get our preferred IELTS appointment and had to wait 2 weeks after I arrived before we could do the test and in good Philippines style they never posted the results at the agreed date I had to chase them up for the results and they had us down as " pick up results " rather than posted even though we checked and double checked on the test date that the results would be posted !! But hey ho got there eventually !!

And now I'm reading Marilou has to pay a International Departure tax 1620 & possibly the terminal fee of 750 that some airlines don't include in the price of the ticket it's just never ending lol... I'm now wondering if there's a secret cabin crew and pilot tax that's waiting for her on the plane lol !!!

Yes. She has to take the completed appendix 2 with her. I suggest you each print a copy and fill out jointly so you get all the details correct.

yeah thats a total if 19 days for my visa to be out.am not questioning I was just surprised that it was not a lot of difference tho with so much money paid in for Priority( jmo -just my opinion)but anyway congrats for that.
Normally if airfare tickets are purchased in the Philippines ,it always cones with travel tax ,just double check it.

You only have one month now to use the visa, a while back it was three.

If you get time shengsei1990 please do a little write up about your son's application, I know a lot of the girls here on the forum will be trying to follow in your footsteps in bringing their children here to the UK :)
