I spent a few years working all over the US, not the place to live for me, Canada is the place for me if I was a little younger and thinking of upping sticks. Hopefully I will have a chance of visiting Canada again as my sister in law is moving from Dubai to there soon. The Canadians like the British more than the Americans, I like the US too don't get me wrong but Canada is better for a Brit in my opinion.

Actually Canada is one of my dream destinations too. Toronto or Calgary.

But sadly I would not be able to go there yet.

I'll be traveling with an emergency passport. So one way trip to the UK, until I get my actual one.

You are talking out of your backside if that is correct.
    Get a life.

He's young Mike, and he has a little bit of the 'streets are paved with gold syndrome', but life is what happens in the bit between the dreams and the reality of trying to fulfil them.

Nothing wrong with him setting high or even nigh on impossible goals as long as he gets a good adventure in the meantime and does not hurt anyone in the process :)

The strangest things do happen :)

I know what you mean, Jim but he asked for honest replies and I gave mine.
There's just so much wrong with an attitude like that, so much so that I could type away for days but I fear it would be to no avail.

There are so many wonderful ideals to have in life in the spiritual sense (not religious) as opposed to material or physical things.
He has set himself up for a great fall IMO.

Phase 3 Agana, she knows the Ruins and Pergola, I was expecting it to be some old ruins or something not a shopping centre come market :)

Hahahahahah... and when I do make it, I hope my fart would be smelled by people such as yourself from all over the world.

Thanks for the opinion though. Keeps me grounded and gives me more fuel for the engine.

Hahahahah... It's called Ruins since that area used to be a wet market back in the day until a fire or some sort burned it down. Then eventually they resettled it and set up shops. The term/name Ruins stuck.

It's not a shopping centre per se. It's like Greenhills, cheap electronic/trinkets stalls.

We all have our dreams in life, all our aspirations. Life after all would be boring without some sort of aim. You go for spiritual stuff, I go with things that I could eat and use. And if I fall, I hope I'd be fat and merry, drinking beer with a lady or two at my side.

Beats having no food on the table and starving myself, worrying day and night about the utility men about to cut your electricity and water, and walking the busy streets hoping you won't get stabbed any day of the week...

    Agreed!
Attaining mediocrity is only scaled for those that were happy to set the bar that low.Happiness is the key.
I`d say this young fella is going places and he will be happy whilst getting there!

Yes. He is heading for London, where the streets are paved with gold. Just needs a UK passport.

I'm being offered an emergency document/passport. So all is good.

I don't know the exact size, but it is really massive! I tried once to have it laminated, but the shop I went to said that it will take long to do so, so I didn't.

I actually lost the diploma when I moved houses, but my transcript is with HMPO.

I'll order for a replacement one of these days. But it is tad expensive, 114 AUD!

    Mine is half that size.

I had to order a replacement a few years ago. My employer lost it. It was not cheap to replace.

I get the strong impression that you are very money orientated Knight, why don't you go to work in the Middle East like so many of your countrymen have done before you? Lots of money and a comfortable lifestyle.

Or do you just want to come to the UK because its super here? :)
