Hello @PaddyJoh my girlfriend went on Monday with all her paperwork and she took the Both Options Of The VIP service and the Premium service, I'm not sure that because she took the premium service she needed to come back 4 hours later so paid for the VIP so her wait was more comfortable,
Not sure but it might only be offered in Manila but not in Cebu might be worth finding our as I know many partners come from Cebu and surrounding areas

Hello mate, thanks for the response ... Am i to understand that the VIP service is decided in a day? While you wait so to speak?

    No bud
Vip offers a better seating area, they will copy about 30 documents for you and also take the passport photos your gf will need for her biometrics page, it's not expensive
The Premium service that's the expensive part offers you a 10 day or less response to your visa application
It's 4 days for us and no news as of yet, 4 days feels like 40, not sure how others deal with the normal 30 - 60 day wait

Yes I have been one of those others .. I think we waited about 28 or 29 days for a response which turned out to be a refusal in the end .. the wait is most definately without a doubt a very very horrible experience but 10 days sounds damn good to me and Ill be having that offer even if I have to go without food for a while to pay for it! ..

Hi @PaddyJoh! I've recently received my fiancée visa and availed their PV service. I decided on the last minute as my TB test was due to expire in just a few weeks (TB certificate must be valid during application and decision) and I wanted to hand my 30 day notice from work only after I get the visa. I was expecting 10 days but I was surprised the email decision was sent in 2 days and passport and documents in 3. Now I'm still waiting for my last day in work and then I'm flying to the UK soon. Good luck with the application. :like:

    Hi PaddyJoh,

Yes, submitting the details of your finances and complying with the requirements is very important.

Best of luck, she is worth it!

Thats great news about your visa, congrats! .. Unfortunately our TB certificate will expire before we can apply again but im not too worried about this and the extra cost means nothing to me when the reward is to finally be reunited with my little lady :) Good luck to you and your partner and enjoy the UK, Im sure you both worked hard to get there ..

Yes, very. Though, I first thought we must have done something wrong with the application for us to receive news so early. I was over the moon when the passport and documents arrived the next day. I look forward to hear your good news soon. :)

And I agree, this forum has also been instrumental in our visa application. Shoutout to all admins and members of this forum for being awesome. I've seen helpful and interesting characters. This forum wouldn't be how it is now if not for them. :like:

Hi, quick 1, so if im understanding this correctly when submitting application online bank statements payslips etc should be less than 28 days old, but if the visa application appointment is taking the documents to 6 weeks old then that`s fine since the original application was submitted when the documents were less than 28 days old ? and about payslips at my work they get emailed to me would just printing these of be accepted ? i have a covering letter from our HR department at work just confirming that all payslips included are true and certified copies but they wont be stamped signed etc should i get that done ?

    tia..

Payslips and bank statements need to be no more than 28 days old at time of online application.

Do not submit online bank statements unless you can get them stamped by your bank, if they will not stamp them then order copy originals via the bank.

Ask your HR department to state in their letter how long you have worked for the company, whether position is temporary or permanent, your salary and how long you have been paid that salary for.

Thx guys.. yes Timmers they mentioned how long i worked for the company and that i take extended breaks in the Philippines how much i earned in the calendar year and how much i earned in the tax year and what they would expect me to earn if i wasn't taking 3 months breaks in the Phills, also they mentioned my employment is permanent and continuous so think that covers all they need.. The only worry i have is i changed bank accounts and couldn't get original bank statements, so i got them to print them off and stamp and date every statement.. i also have a letter confirming the bank account switch which included both old sort code & account number and the new.. So basically i will have 3months old bank account statements ( not official ) and 3months new bank account statements ( official )

What do you mean when you say you have three months old bank statement not official?
