If it makes it easier for my fiancée then yes along with anything else.
I followed your suggestion and had a stamp made up for the GWF reference for all my sponsorship details, but when my fiancée goes for the biometrics and handing in here documents, does she have to have my sponsorship proof and as I think, not where do I send it to?
    Cheers

If she avails the scanning service and you send your docs to Sheffield only her passport and a copy of application form will be needed when she attend her biometrics.

Others seem to include it in their application but not sure if the VFS needs to see that during the appointment.

Well it's not really a requirement but people seem to include it to prove that they are not married. And on the VFS site they will advise you to get one if you avail priority service.

Hi. we are on the same boat. my appointment is this 16th of june at vfs manila. what we did is- my fiancee in uk send all his original documents in Sheffield. While I avail the settlement scanning service in vfs manila wherein they will scan my documents. i also have our facebook, skype prints, pictures of accomodation and our pictures ( pasted in A4 paper ) as per instruction in the VFS website. I will post my actual experience inside the VFS Manila after this 16th. Thank you.

    Hi there,
Well everything is going okay, my fiancée has her appointment at the VFS Manila on the 29/06. The only question I have is how do I book the scanning services via the VFS site, it doesn't seem to be listed on the additional services list?
    Cheers

It is actually. It's number one on the list here:

    image.png Hi there,
Yes I get to there and then press the pay for services button, it then appears not to be listed, if made a print screen show what I mean.

I think you need to pay it by cash since there's no option to pay it online.

I have to say it's only due to you guys and girls that I've managed to get this far, I'm fairly intelligent and have a degree of common sense, but this has driven me scatty!
    Cheers,

Well the deed is done and the wait begins, so part from thanking you all again : ) I thought I would add my limited number of tips on the visa process.
    1. Settlement scanning service is not available to pay for on line, you just pay for it on the day
    2. The VIP lounge service for £65 is okay, I figured my fiancée would be stressed enough so a little comfort might be nice (she sent me a photo of the lounge :)) and if she had of forgotten to do something, it would have been probably covered by that and the form checking service I also booked for £15.
    3. The government portal for visas is pretty well useless and using this forum is far better to learn what to do. The amount of silly questions I asked on here based on the visa portal has been ridiculous : ). The key thing I learnt is the only visa you do want, settlement is the one they don't put on the web site if you want to marry your fiancée in the uk and then apply for leave to remain after.
    4. Buy a self inking stamp for the GWF number for the documents you will be sending to Sheffield.
    5. Remember to keep screen prints of your messenging, take photos of your partner using your iPad or iPhone (other phones are available: )) because it has a hand geotagging facility which can help you demonstrate that you have been with your partner.
    6. know the process seems longer than it is : )
Anyway I will return to this section when I ask about applying for leave to remain in December hopefully : )
