If you're talking about the video linked to in the OP, it is not blocked in the UK. I have use of a VPN in Hull and can watch it without a problem. I can also watch it if I connect normally via normal ISP.

I can view it here with no VPN..Strange Mattecube cant view it??

You're not in the UK and Mattecube said he can not watch it because he's in the UK and it's blocked there. I wonder if he is using a UK-based point of presence or one abroad in a country where that video might be blocked.

They want you to use the Channel 4 catch up which brings in advertsing revenue I would guess.

The video is hosted on Youtube and if there's any advertising, it'll be Google and not Channel 4 that trousers the revenue. The video is geo-fenced for copyright reasons and Matt must be in a country that's excluded.

Oppressive internet control seem to be a real problem in the UK, and of course the EU.

I have a VPN which gives me an IP address in Hull which I can watch it; I can also watch it from elsewhere in the EU, No problem. Problem may be with Channel 4's geo-fencing.
