That is great news, iHeartJa Best of luck with your new romantic journey, I hope he is a good man and makes you happy. Let us know!
Oh i was wrong, it seemed so good to be true but he was a scammer! Glad i found out soon. It has red flags that made me realized something's wrong. I feel sorry for the photos of a man and little girl being used by that Nigerian scammer. Thanks to Mr. Timmers, I consulted him.

He had a great make up background story first then he said he's going to saudi for some business and then will fly to Manila after that. He said he lost some valuable cards at the airport of KSA, but already phoned the banks to deliver new cards thru HSBC her in Manila. He showed an itenerary, screenshots of plane tickets (of him and his daughter as he said). But the day before their flight he said the child got hospitalized and on the day of their flight to Manila he could not discharge his daughter due to insufficient funds. He asked for help to send him money in the name of Agnes Geronimo Delos Santos.I told him the bank could help him if he has an account to them but he kept on insisting about sending him money. I got so worried about the child (a hoax story!)That made me realized something's wrong and it's some kind of scam. I emailed Mr. Timmers about this and he phoned the guy. He confirmed that it was a Nigerian scammer.
I think you will have learned from the experience, I hope it hasn't put you off trying to find Mr right If you find a chap you like and he likes you then you will both meet on webcam very quickly I'm sure, anyone who gives an excuse for not having a face to face on cam like the Nigerian will more than likely have something to hide. These online scammers have no morals at all, they are just interested in trying to extort money out of people.
Thanks for letting us know, iHeartJa I have heard about something similar before. A Nigerian man says he is stuck in an airport and needs money to be able to continue his journey to see a lady in the Philippines. Don't let nasty people put deter you in your search for search for "Mr. Right".
The e-mail account of a hotel I have stayed at here in the Philippines got hacked some years ago. I received an e-mail purportedly from the hotel owner asking for financial assistance, with some story similar to the above, it was an obvious scam. Some days later I had a genuine e-mail from the hotel, apologing and explaining that the e-mail had been hijacked.
Another hotel that I frequently stay at in Cambodia had their official Hotmail account compromised, the hacker asking guests for downpayments to be made to a western union account. Big problems with that one, they still have a warning message on their website. Anyway iHeartJa, take care, trust nobody, and best of luck!
I am on another forum and I have received two messages asking to help friends out who are stuck in an airport with no money. It is a common scam.
yep--happened to a friend of mine recently--a guy allegedly from Florida flying over to meet her--had all his cash confiscated by customs..............
To be honest, I got disappointed and felt bad with question "is this what i get from being nice and sincere?"
