Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has denied refusing to play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Tevez angered manager Roberto Mancini by seemingly not wanting to come on during the second half of the 2-0 loss.

Mancini claimed the Argentine would never play for him at City again, but Tevez has responded by saying he has "always given [his] best".

Tevez added: "There was some confusion on the bench and I believe my position may have been misunderstood."

Strange one this. I have no idea what actually happened or was said.
But it's difficult to see how this issue could be resolved without an actual or perceived 'climb-down'

    Hmmm :erm:

This was back in the news today. Obviously I am no City fan, but I do feel sorry for them having such a good player who is also up his own backside and refuses to play... They should fine him multiple weeks of his salary and every time he fails in something, fine him again.. Clearly he was a waste of money...

Though Manchester United were well shot of him.

Shame we didn't sell him to Chelsea:)
