My Way is sung, but rarely. Westerners sing it a lot, but Filipinos don't. My Way is probably not even in the top 50.

The My Way thing is a bit of a myth. You can trace it back to a single New York Times story that came out 15-20 years ago.

I honestly think the 'My Way Killings' is a bit of an urban myth and a western myth at that, not a Filipino one.

My Way is not often sung, but not because people are scared, to sing it.

I've seen numerous fights/disturbances/ flare-ups in videoke bars over the years and none of them were anything to do with the music. Just alcohol, a woman, or both.

I must say that I have always loved watching Filipinos sing, they always attack the songs with so much enthusiasm whether they can sing or not, always a good night out for sure.

Excellent tune for sure, many big names over the years have covered it including the King.
