Financial requirements on ILR, is that right?

The thing with ILR is that it is all on the form. Quite straight forward. The main focus is on evidence for cohabitation.

The form does ask about finances. But am not aware of any thresholds that have to be met.

Does everyone avail of citizenship. I suppose in the long run it's worth it.

At least then the loved ones can travel freely with British passport and hopefully have no problems bringing family over for visits.

In the case of a Filipina it would be daft not to, though it isnt compulsory of course.

In my my mind it brings the extra security of being one of us and all that goes with it, access to all the countries you and I have access to. And Filipino citizenship can be re aquired giving rise to dual citizenship and the best of both worlds.
