And a partridge on a pear tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unrecognisable from 10 years ago. The various Governments have turned a service to the taxpayer into a thriving revenue collecting business model.
Lot of stuff there John, I can see a couple of case workers tossing a coin over that lot I didn't see six months banks statements or letter from your employer although I'm sure they are in there somewhere.
Do I need to supply the bank statements if I am not relaying on savings? do you think there is too much? Referance letter from current employer is in there honest lol!!
If you are relying on salaried employment to meet the £18,600 financial requirement then you need to submit six months original bank statements, online statements have to be stamped by the bank itself which in my case was a pain in the backside, NatWest wouldn't do it, I ended up delaying the application and ordering new ones.
The letter from your employer needs to show how long you have worked for them, whether the position is temporary or permanent, your salary and how long you have been paid that salary for.
Timmers thanks do you think they would be happy with a breakdown summary of all payments into the account over last twelve months on letter headed paper tis would cut down the amount of paper i would have to send them?
Timmers yes the referance letter covers the points you mention and the idea of me providing the continuity payslips from past to current employer and year end wage slip tallying with p60 seems logical to me<or dont they work on logic
I would say definitely not, they ask for six months bank statements that tally with your six months payslips that you will be submitting, I would not risk for one moment submitting a yearly breakdown sheet. It took me two weeks to get six months of copy bank statements from the bank. You can of course submit online statements but they have to be stamped by the bank.
That's fine in my opinion John as you are showing continuity of employment, remember that they are just interested in you meeting the £18,600 requirement, proving this by whatever means is key.
What ever you do, do not submit your application without bank statements, I'm no expert but I think your application will be declined without them.
i think theres quite a few items on the list that are not necessary....better to concentrate on the things you must submit--make sure they are 100% right. i cant help thinking unnecessary reading could just annoy the case worker.
The case workers have probably got to know applications from British Filipino members by now, they are twice the size and weight of anyone else's applications I was just talking to the wife, she submitted 500 pages of chat logs, back to back, ridiculous, I would never of allowed her if I'd known for Gods sake.
[QUOTE Hi Bigmac which ones do you think not necesasary?[/QUOTE] the extra stuff about your home. without me reading the visa app notes--dont they ask for a copy of the deeds--? whereas utility bills and previous mortgage statements arent called for . please dont think i'm nit-picking---just that if i were the case worker i would get annoyed if i were rifling through extra bumf looking for the very thing that was expected--but not there.
