Btw that bonus I get paid is a yearly one going on time served and doesn't alter only rises each year. Can I use this?

I would have thought that a bonus of any description could be withdrawn by your employer at any time. If the bonus was part of your contract on the other hand and for example and stated that you would be paid a minimum of x £ssssss per annum then maybe, I don't know.
