Philippines ladies win 1st game v New Zealand at 2023 Women's Football World Cup

New Zealand are the co-hosts too.

I watched the game. most of the Phil ladies were whiter than me lol. and were lucky to have won the game.
Fils keeper had an outstanding game making crucial saves.
But well done the Philippines.

Philippines will qualify for the round of 16 on their World Cup debut if they overcome former champions Norway. Victory would also earn them top spot if Switzerland v New Zealand finishes all square. They can qualify with a draw if New Zealand lose, but defeat means elimination.

They were crap but a win is a win. If they get through to the knockout stage I don't think they will beat the likes of USA.
