It asks about how long you wish to stay, obviously we would like to say forever but I guess it's 6 months as the visa is only for 6 months

Are you doing the application form at this moment ?

We printed the application form and answered together when I was in the UK last month. Just doing some last minute checkings before we confirm the application today and schedule for appointment.

Bigmac, appendix 2, should I print this off and fill it in then send to my gf along with the page the sponsor signs ?

would an expired TB test certificate be an issue in the UK immigration? Mine expires in March, just wondering if I have to take another test before traveling.

You cannot beat a bit of cross referencing at a time like this, two heads are better than one :)

I believe the TB certificate just needs to be valid at the time of application.

It's just a quick observation but is appendix 2 more complicated than the actual application form ?

It depends how much of it applies to you!

Seeing works been cancelled due to high winds I might as well open this appendix thingy and give it a bash

It is much more complicated than the personal details form you fill out online, this is the one you must concentrate on, spend a bit of time on it and get it right :like:

Just work your way through it and fill out the easy questions first, gives you a little confidence that way.

    Good luck with it.

i would suggest you print off a spare and do a trial run--maybe in pencil if your not sure--ask questions here. get it 100% right--then fill out a master copy to send over.

Unless the ECO guidance has changed (which may be the case) it was always required to be valid at the time the visa decision was made.
    A subtle but important difference.
Would be wise to double check that if it's such a fine line. IMO

Been a while since I was updated on that tricky issue.
