I am not sure about that. When we were applying the setup was a bit different.

Just a thought. Has anybody tried physically paying them a visit? :D

Exactly what happened to me last week... I even asked them specifically why the application was 'not straightforward' - they didn't even reply...!

A waste of time and money. Also be aware, you only get 3 emails for your £5.48...

How many days are you on at the moment?

We are on our 52 working days as of today. I was hoping to be done befor 60 day mark but I can kiss that dream good bye.

Did they give a reason prior to you contacting them cause of the delay?

Most cases I’ve read and talk to people about is that there either no communication or they send a generic email not stating the problem.

Today is Day 66 - no email from UKVI around Day 60 (unlike others I have read on here!) to say it will be delayed and no explanation of why it is 'not straightforward', despite asking them specifically...!

How about a recorded delivery letter. Is this place in Sheffield?

I will bear it in mind, if it carries on with no communication from UKVI, but if they can't give a sensible, useful response to a simple email I can't see them taking the time to reply to 'snail mail'...!

I am thinking, what if it is propping up a table leg. Hopefully not but if so a letter might jog them into action. It’s a small outlay too. And forms a record if you need to get heavy with them in the future over it.

Hopefully, fingers crossed, you will hear from them with a positive outcome and this will all be history.

I'm hoping the email exchange last week might have given them a 'nudge'...

    I hope so too...
