After today, even if Italy doesn't do much else for the whole of the competition, it can proudly say that the wooden spoon will be for somebody else this time...:vhappy: As a footballing Nation, we seem to do ok, but as rugby goes, we are rubbish indeed. But from time to time, the odd favorable score crops up and it galvanizes the nation, especially if france is at the receiving end of a drubbing... Today, the lads have done miracles in Rome, coming back from behind and finally trouncing the arrogant gauls.... Just another little win, and I will be very, very happy...............:vhappy:
Don't put your boys down mate. Italy along with Argentina, Romainia and a few others are really starting to make headway in international rugby. To be honest I'm glad of that score as I had Ireland or france down for winning this year. Everyone goes on about england winning (which obviously I hope they do) but this is based off a couple of wins a few months ago against the southern hemp teams. If france continue to play like that I'd say the biggest threat to england is Ireland. Well done italy
I think Italy must have a good chance against Scotland - they usually do have, and after that stunning defeat of France their team now know how good they are.
