Hi there, I'm wondering how people meet - do you chat online then fly out to meet someone? Or do you just go to the philippines for a holiday and hope to get lucky there? Or are there good ways to meet a filipina already in the UK? Many thanks!
Welcome 500Dan. I suspect you are going to get quite different answers on how members met their partners. For me, I met my wife online, struck up a great relationship and couldn't wait to meet her, so flew out and did just that
Welcome to the forum 500Dan, meeting online or going to the Philippines are sure possibilities, meeting one who is unattached in the UK is a lot less likely. What's your particular reason for wanting to meet a Filipina if you don't mind me asking?

Sounds like you're under selling yourself. Plenty of British or European women would be happy to meet you I'm sure. Please don't be tempted to make the mistake of looking for a Filipina partner just because you think there's nothing else available. You'll end up disappointed with the wrong sort of person. That's my view.
You could try connecting with Filipinas online if you wished, I'm sure there will be lots of websites that can accommodate you. Join one and test the water, be wary of any girls asking for money though, do not send them money under any circumstances, the rule of common sense applies I think it would be better to meet a Filipina online as opposed to taking a chance and going to the Philippines on holiday, having said that you would have a very good and interesting time if you just decided just to jump on a plane and go to the Philippines.
If you fancy Filipinas, go for it. I first went to Manila as a 38 year-old bachelor many years ago, in hopes of meeting my 'dreamgirl', and have never regretted having done so (or felt the desire to date a European woman since).
You will feel very lucky if you do come over and have great fun in the process...If you accidentally meet your soulmate then that would have been a holiday of a lifetime!! If you do come over..Search this site and others to find out the best places to first visit. Or...Just ask for suggestions.. There are an awful large amount of scammers on the internet as well as genuine people.. Just never send money and you should be fine if you decide to take that route..

Welcome 500Dan. I met my lady after chatting to a few on an online dating asian site. Many gave hard luck stories of phones breaking and money needed for this and that. thankfully I persevered and found a lovely lady whom I worship and i feel she feels the same about me. she has never asked me for anything even when she has experienced lean times. I chatted online practically daily for 6 months before heading out to meet her and her family.
