Super, brings back memories, like a lot of you here I used to watch this series when I was a kid, look at Troy Tempest eye brows, those girls on the other thread would be proud of those stuck under their arms :)

I would really like to see a re-run of Stingray and Supercar in Supermarination of course, never matched often imitated.

    Me too Mike.

I remember having a large plastic Stingray toy that you could actually put in the bath, it was squeezable but I cant find any examples of it anywhere the closest is this model which looks more like an item that would go on a mount.

Do you remember Space Patrol Al?

That was back in the Supercar era too though not an Anderson production.

I didn't see that one maybe I was a little too young, easy to see where Stingray and Thunderbirds got the hover bike idea from.

Fireball XL5 another great one, I have so many fond memories of these programmes along with watch with mother :)

You cant help but think that the kids of today are missing out big time.

Makes me feel happy just thinking about these children's favourites back in the sixties.

Stingray was way before my time but my favorite was He-Man Masters of the Universe :)

I think I can speak for the rest of the older generation here at BF and say that you have certainly missed out big time by not being around when these programmes were first aired on TV.

I watched the article on the BBC news last week regarding the return of the Clangers, I showed the Mrs a You Tube clip and she didn't get it, it obviously doesn't cross over to the Philippines too well :)
