My son was on a flight a few days ago incheon-toronto, I was a bit perturbed when shortly after takeoff on flightradar24 its flight pattern didn't go as expected and it headed for Japan I expected some type of MH370 incident, thankfully it was an electronics problem, got to Toronto almost a day late.
this is why i dont like flying. Its ok at 30,000ft--especially above the clouds. Its the landing that scares me. I cant see me going in a plane again.
oddley enough--i quite liked the idea of going up in a glider when i lived in Gosporrt--there was a club near there. ive flown in a 2 seater aeroplane--single flat 4 piston engine--that was fine--till the door my side blew open. The pilot ( my boss--the owner) said--"it does that sometimes!"
