Don't worry about the FLR(M) its a piece of cake, you basically have to submit the same paperwork as you did for the settlement visa plus the marriage certificate and evidence she is living at your address.

I overkilled on most of my supporting documents, and the evidence of wedding planning was no exception.
I got a letter from the registrars office confirming a preliminary date booked for January.
Also we included our registrars office application forms, one for me and one for Joh.
Emails to and from the registrars office.
A letter from our venue confirming booking.
A letter from my Solicitor confirming that my divorce from my previous wife is absolute. (ooops)
    My Decree absolute.
Also I spent a lot of time building up emails to and from cake shops, suit hire, flowers, venues etc..
Receipts for my suit booking and photos of me in the suit.
Receipts for Joh's wedding dress with pics of her wearing it.
Receipts and photos of wedding rings.
Pictures of me proposing to Joh infront of her family in General Santos last year Aug 2014.
Pictures of Joh showing off her engagement ring.
    Receipt for engagement ring.

I think thats about it and if that doesnt show intent to get married then Ill just give up!

but what bemuses me about a fiancee visa--its only valid for 6 months anyway--so--why the need to prove intent to marry ?

I found the premium FLR(M) almost enjoyable, we were married on a Saturday and got the FLR(M) three days later.

just a thought with the FLR after the fiancee visa-----as the new spouse still cant work till the FLR is granted---then the do the financial requirements still need to be in place ?

Yes, the financial requirements of the FLR are exactly the same as the initial Fiancee visa.

Its only when you get to the ILR stage that the financial requirements are relaxed.

You're going to have to keep your pot of money in the bank for a few years yet bigmac, unless the missus gets a job paying over the financial threshold.

This is a worry for all of us, I did start a thread on this very subject a while back, I will try to dig it out.
