i would have--had it been available when we did our online application--2 months ago now. still waiting ! but i just KNEW this would happen when the new premium service was introduced ! in fact--in our case--i would rather have paid this new premium fee---than pay the extra for the same day service at first FLR. ( who NEEDS a trip to Croyden ! )
Thank you! I did a quick check online for the success rate and the quickest time it takes for this option and found some results for 8-10 working days. They had me worry when I got an email saying a decision was made in only 2 days... I was thinking I must have made major mistakes in my application or must have not submitted the right documents. I was worried from the time they sent me an email until the passport actually arrived the next day in work. I'm over the moon now though and thankful for the positive outcome. Anyway, here are the terms and conditions for the service I availed. The VFS personnel had me sign a declaration for this, which is also downloadable from their website. It is strongly recommended that applicants with any form of adverse immigration and/or criminal history do not use our Priority Visa service. This includes anyone who has previously been refused a visa for the UK, been refused leave to enter the UK, been previously deported, removed or otherwise required to leave the UK, has overstayed a period of leave in the UK, or has been refused leave to remain in the UK by UKVI. Using the Priority Visa service does not imply or guarantee that a visa application will be successful as all customers must still meet the requirements of the UK immigration rules. The Priority Visa service is not a guaranteed service. We do not guarantee that your application will be processed or that your passport will be returned within the period specified. For that reason, we strongly advise that you do not make travel or any other plans that are contingent upon our compliance with that timescale. Neither the Home Office nor its commercial partners will be responsible for any loss incurred as a consequence of failure to comply with the timescale. The Priority Visa service fee, as well as the application fee, is not refundable if your visa application is refused or in exceptional cases, takes longer than 3-5 working days for non settlement or 10 days for settlement applications to process. http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/pdf/Philippines_PV_080116.pdf
