    Sounds awkward ;) :)

And I hate battery operated wireless mice, when they can power them with an eternal battery then I will like them, but battery reliant mice and keyboards are generally crap, I have had to use one too often in a big screen internet conference room, hate the damn laggy things ;) :D

Yea looks a decent spec with an even more decent price. Pity about the release date or I might have picked one up when I go to PI. I'm guessing that they're not locked to a particular network. Phablets are a little bigger of course but suit my ailing eyesight ;-)

My personal experience is that early wireless mice were crap but I use one 9 hours a day 5 days a week and its batteries last at least a year if memory serves. Responsive and predictable.

I find the Apple so called Magic Mouse OK. I keep a simple mouse as a backup for if the batteries fail. But we keep a heap of batteries anyway as well, as we all use them and the wireless keyboard too. Off course the advantage of wireless is exactly that, it has no wires leading to a neater / tidier desk. I know my previous employer looked into going wireless with mice and keyboards to keep the number and length of wires off the desk surface and out of the conduit in place as the desktop computers were centrally rack mounted again to keep the desk surface maximised as much as possible in a limited working area at the rigsite. They opted to remain with conventional wired as the technology was more immature then. I think wireless mice have come a long way since their inception. We use one at home for our laptop. Works nicely and inexpensive, nice and tidy with no wires.

The Apple Magic Mouse is a LOT of money. But I don't pay for it fortunately.

The batteries in the Apple wireless mouse that we use last for a couple of months.

For conference or training I use one of these magic pointy things for slides and has a built in laser light for pointing at the screen. Quite a useful gadget. Click it and the next slide appears. No mouse required. Not tied to the desk either so can click for the next slide and point at a screen and wander around the room at the same time. :D

I see advantages and drawbacks in all products. Apple Macs don't tick all the boxes for me but neither do Windows alternatives.

Wireless doesn't suit all environment s. We kitted our entire factory out in wireless, when wireless network ing hadn't been on the commercial market for long. We found we had to revert some of our computers back to a conventional wired LAN, especially those reliant on a persistent "live" connection to the production server. We are goIng virtual very soon and I'm looking forward to it, the resilience looks impressive from what we seen.

In a factory environment it is crucial to get a wireless survey done but no one ever does and then they end up with loads of dead points and channel overlaps and interference from machinery.

In the old days and even now I prefer narrowband over wifi in factories for mobile kit however narrowband handhelds only have text based very limited screens and most folk seem to prefer graphical UI's even on handheld devices so we get non stop problems from everywhere.

In our own office we have continual problems with the phone lines, because they are VOIP and run over wireless connections we constantly get dropped calls.

I wouldn't disagree with a survey. Ours was self installed and all set on separate channels of course but it was more to do with the data that was getting queried from the production server than the actual wireless itself. I know that the architecture shouldn't affect what is being retrieved from the network, data is data, but it ultimately didn't like the wireless. The connectivity to everything else was fine just sending data to the production equipment wasn't reliable. Yea speaking to Dell who use VoIP can be a struggle sometimes. The idea can be great but reality in a real environment doesn't always bear out that way

Got the monopod. The wife has been taking some good shots of her and the baby with it. Looks like she is holding a fishing rod in front of her every time though. LOL.

Got my Samsung note 10.1 2014 edition before coming to work. paid 23500php for cash and 3500php for a 64Gb micro Sd card. What a piece of kit!! The screen is superb and puts the one on my laptop to shame. I'll admit there is alot of things on it that I'll probably never use but for pure portability and screen quality, ease of use I'm amazed. Only problem is it's that new no one in the phils stocks the cases for them!! Not even the samsung shops I visited!! Going to try and get one of the guys to bring me one to work.
