Well, I guess that with the score at 2-0 for Spurs, Liverpool trips to Europe might well have dried up at source this year.... There is still one game left, and worse things have happened at sea, so, knowing the luck the "Pool" rides along with, I would not be surprised if they snatch it at the last minute.... But it will be tough going..... Somehow tho, I cannot see Spurs losing to Brum, and Liverpool getting anything more than a draw with Villa. Any way, they will be ready to kickstart their season next sunday, I reckon......
The way we have played over the last month I had already gave up on 5th place so "its a funny old game" Birmingham at home and Liverpool away to AV...looking good to me, and watching the Arsenal game today we can look forward to the return of Walker, pity the numpty Arry preferred his Granny to to Bent as we really need a striker. Perhaps Liverpool should have waited until the last game before confirming the manager.
