Theodolite Training Centre English language test A1

    Yes. We just this minute checked the certificates. As you say the TOEIC certs have a 2 Year validity. :frust:

    Yes, we are going to check to see where she can take another test, just in case she needs to.

    Looking at her certs she scored 330 for TOEIC Listening and 120 for TOEIC Speaking so she just scraped a B1......I think.

    Had a face to face chat with an Immigration officer today. He pointed out that we are eligible to apply for ILR on 1st September this year as my wife arrived in the UK on 1st October 2011. That being the case, he construed, it wont matter about my wife's TOEIC ELT expiring and she will not have to sit the new Life in the UK Test, which he said was harder and then grinned. :D

    Yes, that's worked out very well all round for you both.
    The earliest she can apply for ILR is 28 days before her 24 month living in UK anniversary

    I think his comment about the new Life in UK test sounds a little ominous.
    I'm intrigued now ;)
