    One of the hard men of football in the 60s but a true gent off the field.
    Liverpool FC owe him a debt of gratitude for it was his spirit and determination along with a few others that lay the foundations for the success of the 70s.

    Seen him and Emlyn Hughes at a dinner here in Wales many years ago after their playing days. Very funny evening with them both telling stories and bouncing jokes off each other. RIP
