Hello Pat! How did you get the documents from your boyfriend? They'll need original from both sides, so it means my boyfriend has to send it to me via DHL? Or just scan it? But I've read somewhere that scanned documents are not allowed?
All my documents were printed straight from my Banks website and my wage slips from my works payroll site so none are originals. I then sent these by DHL. Visa approved
Hi @Lilet Quijada ! All of my boyfriend's papers are just scanned copies. Approved naman tourist visa ko. The originals that I sent are just on my side, not my boyfriend's papers.
But do you still need to photocopy the original documents? Will they be needing original and photocopies of the documents?
One more question @Pat Perez the photos of you and your bf together, am I going to paste it on a bandpaper? And also the conversations on messenger and Skype, I will screen shot and then print it?
@Lilet Quijada I just sent my original payslip copies, letter from employer with approved leave dates, original bank certificate and original statement of account from the bank. I didn't photocopied them anymore as I could request a new copy from my company and my bank. The paper that I only submitted as a photocopy is my birth certificate. Didn't send the original copy as it is quite expensive for me to get an original copy again. Just a tip: The standard thing that others do is they submit all of the originals and have a photocopy of each of your papers. Just make sure that if you submit your originals, give them also a photocopy of the originals so they would return the originals to you. For the pictures, I just pasted 5 pictures and put a caption on a bond paper. They were returned to me after I got the visa. For the chat logs, I just printed the relevant chat logs regarding my trip to England. You may print/screenshot your conversations regarding on when did you start talking about your trip to England and other similar conversations. They were also returned to me as well together with my visa.
Thank you very much Pat! All of this are very useful! I will apply 8months from now, I know it's a long preparation but we want to succeed on the first try. If there's anything more I want to clarify, I hope it's ok to ask again.
You're welcome! You have a lot of time to prepare for your application. Sure, you may ask me anytime. I'll be glad to help.
No documents to prove she will return for her daughter as there are none really ?? I covered this point in the covering letter I included.
@Pat Perez Hi Pat! I hope you don't mind me asking again I just want to know what are the documents that you sent from your boyfriend's side?
