Thank you @Timmers. I hope i can help those who is applying under this tier of visa as it can be quite confusing. My solicitor kept giving me the wrong information and I basically have to do my own research. I am glad i found this forum and a bunch of friends that is going through the same process as me.

Finger crossed I can get a speedy decision after i submit my application on 15 June 2017!;)

Hi yeah thanks a lot. Im going try and write a letter myself and see if my boss/officer in command will sign it!...

Just a question on documents being within 28 days i got my solictor to sign and date my payslips and also barclays put a digital stamp on my bank statements which were done last month and i plan on submitting visa end of june. Does it matter if these are not in date? Or is it just for cover letters etc.

    Thanks

The last bank statement should not be more than 28 days old.

I didnt date all the payslips and bank statements. I dont think it is necessary. Obviously the payslips is generated by the army side so it should be fine. The fact that they need both bank statement and payslips is just to make sure they corresponde with each other.

Is it necessary to date / certify all the bank statements and payslips because i didnt do that, nor my solicitor asks me to do so.

If the bank statement is the original that usually comes through the post then it doesn't need certifying with the bank.

The one that my husband have is electronic copies, not the one comes through the post. Should i be concerned?

Based on the UKBA guidance bank statements should be original. If they are electronic copies you should get the bank stamp it and sign to make it a true copy.

However I have seen others who got away with the electronic copies and I also know others who got refused because of it so I won't take my chances with it.

Get them stamped or ask for copy statements from the bank, it really isn't worth taking a chance as young brom stated.

I withheld our application for a couple of weeks when the bank refused to stamp my online statements (NatWest) and ordered copies from the bank.

Always best to play safe where you can to avoid disappointment.

Hey all just a question were looking at the English test I'm guessing it'd the general one not the academic one just wondering which one and how long it last could she do it before we apply

Yes you need to do it before she applies. You can take the IELTS Life Skills A1 (or higher) which is specifically for the fiance or spouse visa. It is very easy and wont last 15 minutes.

If she takes the IELTS Life Skills A1 she will only have to do the Speaking and Listening test she needs to have average of 4.0 in each (if I'm not mistaken) but in the certificate it will only say PASS or FAIL.

The test is really easy. Piece of cake for @Rob_Jenny .
