As long as you’re legally in the UK and will be travelling according to your immigration permissions, you won’t need a separate visa to travel to Jersey.

As there aren’t any immigration controls between Jersey and the UK, you don’t need to see an immigration officer when you arrive in Jersey.

You should carry photo ID and it might also be useful for you to bring a letter from the Home Office confirming your residential status in the UK.

So you're not going to see London? That's a pity, you will be missing the greatest city in the world. Yes I'm biassed......but having visited most major cities in the world across all continents, I still feel that London is the greatest.

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

I say it depends on the nature of job of the ofw. As you said they are mostly traveling with their employers family. In most cases their life is a living hell and they see that travel as an opportunity to escape. My cousin is a nurse to one princess of the saudi royals- she said they would leave saudi with 20 pinay nurses and return from europe with 5. I guess the 15 nurses (or domestic help, etc) are the ones you encounter.

But im saying if its the same application from a pinoy against other nationalities. When i first applied for UK visit visa, my jordanian colleague applied a week after i got a successful decision. He submitted the same requirements as mine, we work in the same team finance team (so he has the same salary), single, and has travelled the middle east and asia extensively. Guess what? His application was denied. The reason stated 'they arent convinced he will return to his job in dubai'.

Rumour is that ukvi doesnt like single/unmarried arab (even pakistani) guy traveling to the UK due to risk of terrorism. Then the risk of allowing visa from the subcontinent is obvious - they can disappear and be one of the thousands overstaying with their cousins.
