You'll need details of where you are going to live, too. We had a survey done by a Chartered Surveyor, although I know other people here never did that and provided the details themselves. Do a letter yourself too. With plenty of information about your relationship. Plus details of how you keep in touch while apart and so on. And provide a photo copy of every document you submit.
I didn't know that I also need to a write a letter thanks for that info. By the way I came from the southern part of the Philippines a small town 3 hours from Zamboanga and our post here is really bad I understand that all the documents that I need to submit should be original. Can you suggest any courier that can surely deliver documents right on my doorstep? What courier did yoy use when you were doing your visa application? Thanks
Hi Cherry. I know this visa application process can be very frustrating. It took us 2 years to prepare everything (carefully and meticulously) by ourselves. Maharg is right, you can go to DFA and ask for your previous passport information and you need to provide an affidavit of loss. My fiance used DHL as the courier in sending his documents. Took only 3 days. I will be sharing the list of documents we submitted in the other thread I made a couple of days ago. Good luck.
Thanks Anne my husband and I are still working on all supporting documents that we need and I would really appreciate if you can post the list needed
