Hello Skitch I have one suggestion for you based my own experience in our own UK visit visa. I find that anything to reduce your own expenditure will be a great bonus on your application. I included my mother and father in our application and named them as secondary sponsors, and they both wrote letters to guarantee their financial support and also bank statements etc to show that they are able to do this. My mother claimed that she was paying for my girls flights and travel expenses and will continue to help out financially because there is no cost too great to see her son happy..

Ps I was in the same boat applying for our visa, I had only visited her once in General Santos, she had no savings, she was fully dependant on me, and I didnt make £18600, and she had no proof to show any intention of returning home again but we were visa approved It seems to be pretty much luck of the draw! Keep trying and perhaps you might get the right officer on the day ..

appeal against the decision, and ask for a personal hearing , as everything with them it costs, but thats the road my friend went down, and he got his accepted
