I met my bf through Skout too. I live in the Ph and him in the UK. I was traveling to Canada a month after we met on Skout. He went there too to meet me. Then, he went here after a few months to meet my family. After a few months again, I went to the UK to meet his family. Sadly though, it has been 9 months since we last saw each other. :-(
Another Skout love story success I bet that's hard for the both of you not being together for 9 months. It was hard for the both of us being away for 15 months so I know how you feel I'm afraid being away from each other is part of being in a LDR.
What's PoF? Regina and I met in an online LGBT dating site. She was 8 months into her first year in the UK and she was lonely as f@$k. Hahaha. I had a girlfriend at that time but I was still chatting in that site. Haha. But not really to flirt or hook up with someone, I was just so bored cause I was working on a night shift, and we had lots of free time, there were some days that we had nothing to do so yeah, I was there chatting and we met. Then things weren't working out between me and my (ex)gf so we broke up. I continued chatting with Regina then we became together a month after. I wasn't really taking her seriously at that time cause I didn't really believe in LDR at first. Then after a few months she decided to come home here in the philippines just to meet me! I was really surprised that she was dead serious in our relationship! Hahaha So when we first met I was so nervous! I didnt know what to do. I thought it's going to be awkard but regina was really sweet and very understanding. She made me feel comfortable. She made me feel loved and special. That's the time that I realized that i'm in love with her. Hahahhahahah.

I was in Japan, Tokyo and sat in my hotel room one late evening joined Christian Filipina dating site and met Kris who was working as a Nanny in Dubai. We chatted and then chatted some more and I found myself more interested in chatting with her every day/night than going out in Tokyo. I flew home and promised to keep in touch, she was like a breath of fresh air after the messy divorce I had just endured and keep in touch we did.
