Yes. I know. Friday after work to an airport and that make me arrive Saturday evening in Philippines. Going back Saturday evening and that make me arrive Sunday afternoon in UK That still 7 days of free time
The other thing to bear in mind is that it is more expensive to fly Friday to Monday (inclusive) than Tuesday to Thursday.
Well.......that is different to everyone. Different people have different values and priorities. It depends what is more valuable for you. Time with your beloved one or some amount of money.
It's not quite as simple as that. I'm sure you don't live at either Heathrow or Gatwick, so you will have the travelling time there to consider. In Manila, it will take you at least one hour to transfer between Terminals 2 and 3 - and that's assuming you're not travelling during the rush hour. At those times allow 2 hours. By the end of November, all international flights will arrive and depart from Terminal 3 and the airport authority requires international passengers to arrive at least FOUR hours before their flight departure time in order to complete all security and check-in formalities. If you're flying up from a province, that's all of Saturday taken care of.
If you want to travel on the busiest day of the week, when airports and aircraft are at their maximum capacities and pay more for the privilege, that's up to you.
I live in Birmingham and it's good connection with Emirates airline here so there will be no need for travel. And in Manila it is just a few hours. Don't forget in Manila change of time zone will be on my side. That's +8 hours extra
Well as for today I don't have a clue from where I will be travelling from. Maybe province, maybe other island. But that is not a problem because if she will be really interested in relationship we can travel together to spend that time together.
Oh really? Ah-huh, what do I know, I only live here .... The timne zone only works in your favour during your flight back to the UK. It works against you when flying to this country. And in fact it will be 7 hours as from next year, not 8.
Probably not - unless you're going to say goodbye to her in the arrivals hall upon your arrival to Manila - and let her wait for her return flight to wherever. She will not be allowed to be with you whilst you wait to check-in for your international flight.
What us guys are saying is be careful of taking just short trips. You may find that as soon as you arrive it is time to go. How about considering 2 weeks?
Indeed which is why I would fly with KLM: it has the best departure and arrival times for both the outward and return journeys.
I wouldn't go for trips of less than two weeks, as John says, the trip will be over before you know it.
