By way of a footnote, years ago the Pagsanjan Falls were used for the shooting of the later parts of the very well known Vietnam War film "Apocalypse Now", which was based on your fellow countryman Konrad Korzenowski's great novel "Heart of Darkness". For some years afterwards, as a result of the depravity of the American film crew, the area was known as a place where perverted paedophile foreign men might go to find young boys for sex. It is OK now but it will be a good plan to be very visibly in the company of your lady, whilst you are there, to avoid any misunderstanding.
I am not going alone if that's what you mean. We are going together of course. And it will be tour with the guide so nothing to worry about.
Good to see you enjoyed yourself tiger, I expect it will be Skype night every night when you are back in the UK Nobody can argue that you have not been to Manila now, MOA, good place for shopping and many other things Good luck with your endeavour.
That's nice to know Tygrrysek! Everything fell into right place. Enjoy the moment and have fun. Btw, welcome in the Philippines! Just have long patience for the traffic .....lol
My avatar (photojournalist in "Apocalypse Now" played by Dennis Hopper) is connected to Konrad Korzenowski (Joseph Conrad). Apocalypse Now was based on Conrad's novella "Heart of Darkness" based in the Congo.....
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Dom bigmac knows I am getting older. I loved the rather insane photojournalist character in "Apocalypse Now" http://www.onesixthwarriors.com/for...at-do-we-want-apocalypse-when-do-we-want.html Maddest Movie? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...-Apocalypse-Now-finest-film-modern-times.html Dennis Hopper always seemed to be on the edge too from the roles he took on. He could have been totally different in real life though, but I doubt it. He directed "Easy Rider" in 1969
I asked my tiger lady if she is ok if I show you a picture of us together and she said she have nothing against it so I can show you how we are looking together
....so....when you going back? I think I can see where all your holidays are going to be for the immediate future
I am going back on Monday evening. Short time but time with the right person. Next step will be building a strong and solid relationship so next time I will see her in the January or February
Yes. Now I have the experience so even if something will come no good and everything turns out into shambles I will not afraid to start everything again. BTW. Right now I feel pretty good in Manila. I don't afraid to walk on the streets after dark and I was visiting the markets without any trouble. But I must say that advice about learning some basic tagalog words was very helpful. Every time someone approach me to sell me some dvd or other stuff I just tell him salamat with a smile on my face and he go straight away surprised.
Nice photo of the two of you, Tygrrsek except it was making me feel sick as the background was leaning over! I did a quick edit and came up with this (hope you don't mind):
