I agree, the referee let us down a bit.

No. The England team did that all by themselves. So many missed opportunities.

The team would be much more potent if Rashford is picked ahead of Sterling.

We won, we grow we learn.
Loftus-Cheek played well when he came on.

Will him play Loftus Cheek and Rashford from the off next or will he play Sterling again?

90+ minute goal to win. It' our year just like MUFC versus Sheffield Wednesday Rashford to play next game and Loftus Cheek.

I think Rashford should start in the next game , it's a shame Sterling never seems to bring his great club form to the international team yet .

I'm still not entirely convinced by Lingard yet , I hope he can start taking his chances as he has a lot of pace . I'd like to see Vardy given a go also .

Yes ,there's no doubt we did miss a few good opportunities , but doesn't alter the fact that we should've had definitely one , and maybe two penalties , which would've made it a lot more comfortable than the score suggests .

I thought that was the reason to bring in the VAR , to help get correct decisions .

I am not convinced by Lingard either despite being a closet Man U fan.

I am not a fan of VAR but your right now it's here it needs to be used correctly.
I thought they reviewed start to end passage of play not the bit they think they want to see.
That aside as I said in an earier post we won we learn we move on.
Good luck to them on Sunday

Football is the game of the world, Keith.
    from Wiki:
The World Cup is the most prestigious association football tournament in the world, as well as the most widely viewed and followed sporting event in the world, exceeding even the Olympic Games; the cumulative audience of all matches of the 2006 World Cup was estimated to be 26.29 billion with an estimated 715.1 million people watching the final match, a ninth of the entire population of the planet.
A lot of the footballers are prima donnas but the game is exciting to the majority of sports fans around the world.

Great result , nice to see a convincing win , even against the lesser teams .

Looking forward to Thursday , to see how we compare with one of the better teams . It’s going to be a lot tougher than today I’m sure . Come on England .

Can't see England beating Belgium TBH. They made a lot of mistakes against Panama in the first half, they will get punished if they play like that against decent teams. Panama could have been 2 up in the first 10 minutes.

Sorry but That's my view, like it or not. Panama played like school kids on a wet Sunday morning. Hope England play better in the knockout stages.

If we beat Belgium then we will get to the Semi Finals at least. Dare to dream. Nice to see them play without fear

I don't disagree with you Jim, I'm not reading anything into the result against Panama , and Belgium will be really tough opponents. Playing against them , will show just how good or not we are .

I'm not expecting us to win the match , but I hope we at least give it a good go , and they give us something to do proud of . Both teams have qualified anyway , so might make several changes from their last line ups .
