What has that got to do with the current discussion about the atrocity commited in Manchester earlier this week by an islamic extremist and his team. You imply that people are racist, you feign offence, and throw in terms like kkk, aryan brotherhood, in an attempt to silence discussion. Wow, you even manage to find offence in the old testament and use it to sidetrack peoples dislike of muslim extremist, something that is very much a modern day problem.

The difference Gerry, is that not many Christians today are carrying out any of those things, whilst a FEW Islamists are following the words of the Koran, to the letter. I should maybe at this time, make it known that I am a Muslim. I have lived and worked with muslims for the past 35 years and been a muslim for more than 25 years, as such, I think maybe, I have a greater insight into their thinking than a lot of us on the forum. Of course it is wrong to tar all muslims with the "terrorist" brush, but regrettably, whilst not all muslims are terrorists, the great majority of terrorist are muslim. This hurts me greatly, as it is my chosen religion and these acts do not represent the ideals that attracted me to the religion in the first place. I have no idea what the solution is, but what I do know, is that you will never change their ideology, it runs too deep. Most of the more modernized, educated muslims will never condone these terrible acts of atrocity, but believe me, there are a great many muslims, that whilst they may not care to admit it openly, have some sympathy for these actions of the terrorists. I will not comment further as these things never reach any sort of accord and just cause division amongst us, something which I find a great pity as I believe our main focus should be to share ideas about the British Filipino aspects.

Hmm ... and only 7 years it's taken for somebody to have the manners to say so. 'Boots' is treated in the same manner of course, and presumably for the same (childish IMO) reason. Boots is a moderator over there, and you know that. No, there was a great deal of bad feeling between this place and that place you know it, I for one am not about to attempt a massive reconfiguration of this place in order to keep a very small number of posts private from the owner of that place.
Hahaha... paranoid is the very last thing I am. Those who have met me personally seem to think I'm a very funny, friendly, sociable and hospitable person. Humour is the best way to avoid conflict, I've always found. Some people I just have to shut the door on though, after having first politely said... "no thanks mate". They're on my (short) ignore list.
