Crush injurys don't always leave a bruse and if there is no blood flow you won't get a bruse. Its a pivot point you don't need a vast amount if movement to shift your body weight try standing on one keg and lean backwards to see how much movement you need to change your balance. Also if you are kneeling down your full body weight is on your knees and your toes. At best the cop was negligent in carrying out his duties resulting in a mans death he did not follow procedure and did not check on his prisoner who was under arrest in his custody. At worst he's a thug showing off to his cop buddies is did not mean to kill anyone but his actions on that day resulted in a mans death. What ever way you look at it he is guilty of a crime under U.S. law. The rest is up to the jury and the judge.
The USA knows that if the officer is not convicted of causing George Floyd's murder, the cities will burn.
Past history bears no relevance and is not a mitigating circumstance for the officer murdering the poor man.
Totally wrong. The cop knew exactly what he was doing and he will be convicted for murder and will probably get a life sentence. It was murder and it was filmed showing as much. Why didn't the cops just leave George Floyd on the floor in handcuffs for a while and take him off to jail if he had committed a crime?
I'm not important. The evidence is. Your comment "So did he put his full weight on or not?" also indicates it is a "Good job you're not on the jury Druk1 . Let me see, did Mr.Floyd walk off into a waiting police car and go to jail? Uh, exactly.
Handcuffs would have been sufficient. That is why police carry them over there. The murdering cop chose not to use them.
He was face down with others holding his body down John, no evidence whatsoever, evidence, that he was pinned down with full bodyweight on a knee.
one thing no one on here has picked up on: if floyd was being choked/ throttled/ strangled whatever--how come it took 9? minutes for him to die ?
