We've just heard from VFS, that a decision has been made on our applications and the passports will be delivered back.

We had the biometrics on the 17th October ....
I don't know how long it takes to deliver the passports back maybe 1 or 2 days

interesting. we applied for my wifes sons visa about that date--i sent all sponsorship stuff to sheffield at the same time. had the lot back within 14 days.
meanwhile--wife went over for 3 weeks--took her son to VFS manila--who refused to scan his documents--saying she had to send to sheffield. rather than post--she bought them back with her (TB cert, birth cert, letter of consent from his father ). i sent them in straight away--mid november--and had the lot back within a week. so plenty of scope for a complete c0ck up at ukvi.

weve not heard anything since--but to me no news is good news. i think end of feb could be about right for us.

Ours was already made too. Applied October 10 then heard from vfs Dec 29. The passports arrived in our province Jan 03 and it was scheduled to for delivery Jan 05 but I was still in Manila at that time. Just arrived last saturday. So tomorrow, i will pick up the passports from 2go office. @a8amg, you can track ur passport at the 2go website 24hrs after u receive the txt from

We didn't..but we're given a IHS number for the son.
