I doubt they will, why could they not play on Sunday and let the rags play Saturday. KDB missed a sitter, leaning back while taking a shot! Looks like they could end up with nothing at the end of the season.
I wonder whether Newcastle will be the last of the non-big 6 to be taken over by gazillionaires after the backlash now against state ownership and dodgy Russians/Chinese? With a new stadium on the way and wide fanbase, Everton would appear to be a great project for someone obscenely wealthy to pour in a billion quid. Instead, there's just this weird American group who, on paper, look even worse than the Glazers.
Lots of noise at Newcastle over repositioning their finances, Staveley resigning a number of positions for companies that prop up Newcastle but she maintains directorship at the club, then there is her loans she has received and all sorts of other bits going on. Everton, this 777 group will if their efforts for other football clubs they have interests in, will end up a big mess on Merseyside.
Not entirely accurate she has resigned from Newcastle United Football Club Limited but remains a director of Newcastle United
Seems like the PL have given the go-ahead except that 777 have to pay back a loan to MSP. It is murkey waters for sure.
2-0 win at home against fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest. Forest were unlucky not have been awarded at least one penalty. Everton have not had much luck this season though.
We went to bed early last night, and woke up to the wonderful news of the pool 2-0 loss. I am ecstatic..........
The 6-0 drubbing by Chelsea and the reaction to that gave us Premier League survival and stopped Liverpool's title challenge in it's tracks. RESULT
