All documents go to vfs global in manila. They then send the to the pdf file address in the uk. Maybe the UK address has changed but the processing is still vfs.

I used the Uk visa and immigration enquiry form @ £5.48
The reply was: all original documents should be carried by the applicant to the visa application centre along with The forms...
I have written back stating that as of 3 April 2017 website states all documents need to be subtly Sheffield and I am again waiting for a reply.

It clearly states as of 3 April 2017 all supporting documents need to be sent by applicant or sponsor to Sheffield

Our payment was just declined, 5 times, I was on phone to my bank and they were waiting for payment but payment service declined it and now it says we must make a new application.....I am losing the will to live
UK visa immigration service premium phone line just told me we were using the wrong browser to make payment...wtf....
Originally when we tried to log in to make the settlement applicant the system would not let us register with our previous email address, despite them saying we had to use the same email address as in previous applications, but was informed by £5.48 service that only hotmail or yahoo addresses were valid.....
We got a hotmail address and lo and behold it allowed to register....now this....wrong browser at the final hurdle....

The gf went to Manila last week.

She had copies of everything. VFS was not interested. They just took her passport. I think they took the print out of the online application. But copies of the various certificates ( I already had the originals), VAF4 etc were barely glanced at.

I've sent everything off to Sheffield now and just playing the waiting game.

Are you employing a Law Society or Home Office approved immigration lawyer? If so, then he should be able to give you that advice.

She's not really got any as she ran her own store. But I mean once she' in the UK.. How do I go about her working here legally. For example I know she needs a ni number but is that it? How do I apply for that anyway?

I'd worry about getting her here first.

The 'employment paperwork' is very easy to organise, and she wouldn't be working 'illegally', purely because of the fact that she'd be in possession of a spouse/married visa, which permits the holder to work, from day one.

Procedure for applying for an NI number, etc, is all available online on the UK.Gov website.

as soon as shes here--she will have to go and collect her Biometric Residence Permit ( BRP ) from a specific post office. this is her permit to work.
