Some of us will not accept Jacob Rees-Mogg.

Still, there always has to be one ultramontane Catholic High Tory. Fine as a figure of fun, but very dangerous if taken seriously, even for a moment.

I have a feeling that everyone who voted for Brexit will be ridiculed by people who backed the wrong horse.

It will be hard to find anyone that will admit being a Brexiteer in ten years :)

All these so called experts who are so sure Brexit will fail, what historical data do they have to go on? Its just opinion and speculation at the this point.
So tell us about the leader of the LibDems? :like:

    I doubt that.

You mean the one that was forced to resign by intolerant political correctness, yet had just increased his MP count by 50%? Or the selectively forgetful one, for whom "truth" was a comparative rather than an absolute, who managed to lose most of his MPs? Or the one who should be the leader but has ruled herself out leaving the field wide open to grumpy, intolerant old men who believe that MPs are rulers rather than servants?

Whereas the Brexiters of course have historical data to back up their confidence, and are not speculating?

    Anyway, whatever.

It looks like being a Soft Brexit, which is like shooting off only one toe, rather than the whole foot.

So what do you get for your £100 billion?

Britain will continue to have access to the markets of Europe, continue to make payments to the EU (£350m a week apparently), continue to allow free movement of People, Goods, Services and Capital, but no longer have a say in how things are run.

Britain will still be told by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels which bananas are bent enough to eat, and still be sold them by some Polish shopworker who sends half her wages back to Krakow every month and doesn't even speak English.

The EU will have removed the thorn in its side, but kept it in its pocket. The French and Germans are now free to dominate the continent completely, and insist on their crackpot schemes of Federation, including the formation of a European army. And we will help them pay for it. There is also a good chance that the English language will be dropped as one of the official languages of the EU.

I think the Brexiters have just seen their dreams of a free and independent Britain spinning slowly down the plughole.

Of course, this is not what you all voted for or against on June 23rd 2016. You are going to be fed a rather large slice of fudge.

    Unless you fancy another referendum?

    More speculation and random numbers.
