Same here, I got our marriage certificate after 3 weeks. I applied after 4 months though. Payslip thing ^-^
hello guys, I already booked an appoint in VFS office in Manila... How many photocopy do i need??.. One original and one photocopy of all documents i should prepare??...
Yes, a copy of each does the trick, you will get all your original paperwork back with your passport after the visa decision and the UKVI will keep the copies. Bring all the original paperwork with you when you come to the UK, you will need it for future visa extensions. Good luck
Hi everybody, I have submitted all my paperworks on 10 Nov for unmarried partner visa. To date, I haven't heard anything. I know its too soon but its really doing my head in anybody knows where I can track my application?? Ta! xx
Maybe details here? http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/feedback_complaints.html https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/
I was going to complain myself about their lousy website that keeps falling over but after our visa was granted all my anger melted away
Hi Lisa On the VFS Global site, in the FAQ's the following is stated What documents do I submit for a visa application? Your appointment confirmation, A valid passport or travel document with at least 1 page that is blank on both sides 1 recent passport-sized (45mm x 35mm) colour photograph of your face, which meets the requirements in UK visas and immigration’s photograph guidance. A printout of your online application form, signed and dated If you are applying for a settlement visa, a completed self-assessment form, signed and dated; Any supporting documents relevant to your application. Did you have to complete a self-assessment form? If so, what was its contents?
Hi oneworld, I suppose so. Is this the same as the VAF4A form? if so its about your background like family, DoB, your previous travels, if you have criminal records etc.... nothing much to it and most of the questions are a yes or no. Hope that helps xx
Hi Lisa I was thinking if it was something else that had to be completed when attending appointment at VFS? I guess you didn't need to do anything else, just provide all the forms and supporting documents? The one thing that has been evident through the whole process, is that they haven't been consistent on keeping the terminology throughout Settlement Visa, Family Member Visa, Spouse Visa..... Arrrhhh!!!
lol so it seems! beginning to wonder if Ive missed something now lol But Im pretty sure the lady from the application centre check all my papers and was told its good to go I even paid extra for the premium service so to make sure they check all my stuff. The only form I remember I have is the Vaf5 (sorry I had to go through our solicitors email) for which the solicitor filled in for me but those are the questions she asked me if been convicted my present address if Im working or being supported by my partner have I ever been refused a visa etc.... Is that not the same as the application form though?????
or could it be the form where they ask you about your sponsors background like dob, do, previous marriage/relationship, about his job, salary, accommodation stuff that are all in my supporting documents. I do recall the VSF lady asking me for a certain form I can't remember the term she used but she said its okay if I didn't have it and I don't have it at the time so I wasn't really bothered about it. I hope this helps!
The financial requirements application VAF4A Appendix 2? I'll get to know, when my wife eventually visit VFS. I feel the VFS should vet applications and allow missing details to be added before submission, I think they don't do it, but once the fee is paid there is no going back... thanks anyway
yes thats it appendix 2 its called. those are the only forms that they asked at VFS. Application form and the appendix 2. Im sorry if I couldn't be of any help mate.
Lisa You've been great help The last statement was the missing part of the jigsaw You have proven that what was written in VFS FAQ's is wrong I just wasn't sure, until knowing what actually happens at VFS Thanks lisa
There are only two forms to fill in for a Spouse/Fiancée visa, the VAF4a2 financial requirements and the VFS online personal details form.
I got the impression something else happened on the day when visiting VFS https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/Home/ViewFAQ http://www.british-filipino.com/index.php?threads/decision.9634/page-5#post-65656 Its now been proven the FAQ is wrong Surely the application forms are signed prior to the visit...
hi, i already passed all my docs last Nov 18. They just asked me to fill up a form for the text information, and paid 150. I will just pick up all the documents in their office so i didn't pay a courier fee since if in God mercy i got my visa i will straight go to the CFO for the seminar and ticket. I also fill up a form of what documents i have and answered by original and photocopy.. And advice 2 or 3 months for the results... Hope it wont take 3 months... Lol's i put December 14 in my Expected date of travel. hehehehehehe Hope it will work.....
