Hi thx for the reply.. yeah all i could find online in reference to P60 was being self employed.. im sure my payslips etc would be ok for showing tax paid etc..
Hi @firew0myn how are you doing? Have you gotten your visa by now? I will start on mine soon.. been looking back at this thread.
Hi @joi1991! Yes, I got it latter part of March if I remember correctly. I am in the UK now. How's your prep going?
Im so Glad to know that! Well we decided to work on fiance visa but our folks here suggested we have weak chance on this as my boyfriend has been living in Japan since 2015 and will be going back to UK in 2017. Im confused now...hopeless
Don't be confused and hopeless. I suggest you study what the requirements are for both the fiance and spouse and decide from there.
If we qualify, we might end up getting married here. Just want to get this approved in the first try.
I don't see any reason why you won't be if you follow the guidelines and submit the necessary documents.

I read it and correct me if I am wrong but I guess you are more concerned about the time that will be spent waiting and working on the visa given your current situation?
Hi All, Just a quick question - My boyfriend showed me a (likely) scanned copy of a BANK LETTER confirming that he has an account in HSBC with this particular credit to date. Bf mention that He will print them from online. I doubt he got the right documents. Anyone?
Hi @joi1991! All bank documents need to be original so nothing printed online. He can request for these from his bank. My husband just called his bank and requested for the bank statements and we got it in less than a week.
You can submit online statements as long as they are stamped by the bank, problem is, some banks/branches will do this and some will not as in my case with the NatWest, I would definitely order copy statements from the bank as stated by firew0myn, saves unnecessary hassle that way. Remember that the financial information you submit needs to be no older than 28 days at the time of the online submission.
Oh thanks for adding that info, @Timmers! I forgot that part about printed ones can be stamped. And yes, please make sure it is within 28 days. We applied for my first FLR M visa this afternoon and the case worker didn't see my husband's July payslip. We thought we missed out on that too!
That is the hard thing when he is not in UK at the moment. I hope the bank can provide to him the bank statements soon because we are planning to submit by the end of the month. By the way, is that 28 days from applying online or submitting documents to vfs?
You make your appointment for the VFS office to submit your documents at the same time as you submit your online application, not sure what the appointment availability is but I'm sure one of the other members can tell you of their recent experiences.
