Oh not sure how fast his bank can provide it; my guess is that it varies per bank. But if your fiance is currently not in the UK, I wonder if his bank will be willing to send it to a non-UK address. Hopefully, they will. He would need to speak to them about it. May not be a complicated process but banks can be really strict at times, which of course is understandable knowing how sensitive bank information is.
@joi1991 Hi! As for the availability of appointments, it varies. But in my experience, I still got an appointment a couple of days after submitting my application.
hi everyone! we are about to start our visa application, {cross fingers } We are going to apply for a spouse visa and we choose the financial requirement category D cash savings. We started to follow the rules to deposit all his weekly salary last march 2016 then up to now so by September he will send all the required documents specially the bank statement. My concern , should I apply the visa while waiting for the documents or better to apply, the moment i receive all the papers ? and by the way he pay the bills through online , he has no longer receiving a hard copy bills instead via email. Is an online bill print copies the same as original hard copy? Thank you.
Online bills will suffice, a lot of people including myself only have paperless utility bills. Remember if you are using cash savings to meet the financial requirement you need £62,500 in an instant accessible account that has been held for at least six months prior to the visa application.
If you are relying on cash savings alone then that is the amount required, if you are using a combination of cash savings and salaried earnings then use the calculator in the link below to find how much you need in savings; http://crossborderlegal.co.uk/content/spouse-visa-income-threshold-savings-calculator/
We are going to use the combination of cash savings and salaried earnings. We need more than 27,000.00 in his bank account and Thank you for clarifying this matter.
