I don't think this is something where you can just point fingers at the big clubs. It will be down to ownership for which the majority are not British/European and would not be in touch with the feelings of ordinary supporters (and, yes, I realise Levy is British). My feeling is that many of the angry owners were angry mostly at being left out of the talks rather than the principle behind it. The social media teams at many of the non-big 6 thanked their lucky stars their owners had not been invited.

With the diverse ownership and incredible wealth of the Premier League clubs, it will only be a matter of time before the next scandal erupts. La Liga came very close to having regular season games being played in the USA. Would that happen in the Premier League? Maybe the Carabao Cup, which nobody cares about, would have the final played at the sponsor's home in Bangkok? Maybe a few meaningless end of season games held in China? Something deeply unpopular will be proposed. We'll just have to wait and see what it is!

The six broke rule 9 and any action taken against the six should be corrective rather than punitive.

I agree corrective action against the 6 needs putting in place but all that happens is if the finances are difficult then the supporters and fans cough up.
There is talk the 6 will be removed from any decision panels they sit on and perhaps they the decision makers should be scrutinised to ensure all future activities by them are curtailed in some way.
Most clubs now are owned by people who can afford financial hits and they will always take their cut regardless of the club's financial state.

I'm still confused how they will face punishment. Sky won't let the 'dirty dozen' be relegated to the Championship or banned from European compositions. Money talks.

I'd hit the billionaire owners with a vast amount of money and give it to the lower league teams, and I didn't see Bolton Wanderers mentioned in the link. One of the leagues fonder member almost kicked out out of the league.

I am sure that there are the bitter who want their day and the fiassco should not go uncorrected but how is the question without hurting the innocent.

The millions of "bitter" people are the ones all over Europe who saw six greedy clubs try to go behind everyone's backs to get further monetary gains. These clubs were rightly humiliated and their owners had to apologise to their own fans also.

I don't think the club's were humiliated at all as you say the the club's are for the fans.
I don't feel humiliated, what I do feel is that a club I have supported and followed since the late 60s early 70s is run by a bunch of people who think they know better than the 70000 plus people who fill the ground.
It is very easy to shoot the messenger if the messenger isn't carrying your message.
The owners must be held to account but only in a way that will not hurt the supporters the players and the whole football revenue generating family.
Imagine the revenue loss from Sky if instead of screening Man Utd versus Liverpool they Sky rocked up with Norwich versus Southampton.
