Not a fan of beer too but in the name of love I'm drinking it when I'm with him in the pub. And just to fit in too :D

Hahaha, I agree! That time I just ordered mojito as I really don't like beers (this is another story to tell :D). Well out of respect, I only took a bottle of beer but that's it, mojito and some footie stories accompanied me the rest of the night. :alien:

    1. Money Talk - During the job interviews like someone is asking how much you want or earning, etcetera. Apologies I wasn't too clear on this.

    2. Nandos Experience is when you order a full-chicken meal but only ask for water instead of soft-drinks. And then you go to the refilling station and look at the staff straight in the eyes while re-filling your glass with soft-drink.

Most staff won't bother since you already paid. Also it's a right of passage for youngsters here from what I've heard. Basically, a bit of law breaking.

    3. Yeah, Filipinos will interview you here in London and will try to find out what you do. If they find out that you are a newcomer, with no job or a 'blue-collar' job or a stay-at-home mum with a British boyfriend/husband, they'll prey on you.

Not everyone though, mind you. There are of course some nice Pinoys as well, but they're a much rarer kind.

    4. Australia is nice. I've only been to Brisbane once but if you like the beach and laidback life, then it's the place to go. Also Byron Bay (Gold Coast) is just a few miles drive away and it's quite popular as it's the location for Home and Away (a long-running Australian soap opera.)

I've lived in Sydney which is further south and much has a much 'faster life-pace' but still chilled/laidback compared to London.

If he's into the kind of laidback lifestyle and meeting different people, and money is not really his aim then Australia is a good move.
