    Hello Everybody.
I agree with 'roamaing- on' but did not mean to be disrespectful to the good people of the Philippines. Please if I have caused any offence please accept my apologies.
    Regards.
    Brynski.

Yes indeed, while a lot of us are British many of us are Filipino, it is british-filipino after all :)

Both cultures have their problems and both have much to admire.

I was in Salawati, Irian Jaya back in 1978. A Phillips camp.
I.J. is now called "Papua" I believe.

    Try these Brynski:

    Birdwatch.ph

List of birds of the Philippines

When I was on my wife's island I was mesmerised by the beautiful metallic sounds of the Galancian (Filipino word) (Asian Glossy Starling)
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_glossy_starling

I didn't have much time to take photos of them as they were not in view for long.
They were hanging upside down under the eaves of a house.

    Good for bird watching, apparently.

I worked for a company up the East Lancs from Penningtonn Flash, when I finished a job and I didn't want to go back to the office too early I would park up there and have a walk round.

My daughter went to Gulliver's World a while back and she too enjoyed it with the kids, lot of things of interest in the area, surprising really.

Yes. Chester zoo, though we have already been there. We might call into Chester itself.

Going back to Shropshire, I did a small job in Knighton near Craven Arms yesterday, the drive down there through a lot of lovely countryside was a welcomed pleasure, would be nice to stop at one or two of the country pubs en route.

Cant go wrong with Chester Zoo when you have a kid in tow.

Chester itself is more for the grown ups as you know but a good day out for all just the same.
