NHS App gives a print out of Covid Pass for travel. If accepted.

From what I have read, no PCR test before flying. PCR test on the 5th day in quarantine.

This is the relevant link as to quarantine, it refers to yellow and green lists.

Ok fair enough Yellow list is the rest of the world, for some reason the Philippines hates Bermuda which is their only red list countryo_O :D

(Bermuda has only had 82 deaths in total)

Yeah I know. I can cope with that. Besides, we know LGU's are not interested in monitoring people at home hahaha

I may be wrong, but I think the UK and the Philippines do not have a reciprocal arrangement concerning the VaxCertPH? Apparently every country needs to have this arrangement with the Philippines in order to confirm if you are fully vaccinated. For example, showing my NHS certificate via the NHS APP will not suffice? Can anyone advise or confirm please?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Yes I see that, but according to the Philippine government, the foreigners country should have the reciprocal VaxCertPH arrangement.

Extremely unlikely that we have a reciprocal agreement on this already.

I'm trying to verify but it looks like nothing will have changed for us.

edit: VaxCertPH has only just been launched, they only just finished the programming for it.

No one is going to have that yet as it is too new, so its going to be 8 days pre-booked with release on the 7th day

Very confusing. So it's not 5 days hotel quarantine then 4 days at home. Its now 8 days hotel quarantine even if your fully vaccinated in UK?

Last I read was that the Philippines does not currently recognise vaccinations from outside the Philippines.

£350 for your vaccine passes and to be put on the NHS system alternatively do it legit.

Yes though it says release on day 7 plus home quarantine until day 14 but that depends on which day is day 1, will a 10pm arrival count as day 1, who knows.

That was the case until today, the implication is that they will trust anyone who will trust their own VaxCertPH document or app, and as this has just been released they probably have no one offering reciprocal recognition yet.

My friends a rabid anti-vaxer, he paid it for him and his wife, there's always someone open to manipulating the system for cash.

It is the safety of my family rather than the cost of travelling for us, Druk1.
